We Were Featured in The Daily Mail

Most of you will probably already know this but if not and you’ve been living under a rock the past week then this one’s for you. Secret Whispers and our award winning Kegel Weights were featured in one of the UK’s top publications, (with an average monthly reach of around 33 million!) The Daily Mail. More specifically, in the Femail section by Dr Clare Bailey in her column, A Problem Shared.

This is so exciting for us and for this community as a whole, to see pelvic floor issues being brought out of the shadows and on to a major platform for discussion. I can't even imagine the number of women that will have read that article and felt so comforted by the fact this was being spoken about and realised they were not alone.

I know for a fact that many women headed Dr Bailey’s suggestion of using our weights from the sheer number of orders, emails and questions we’ve received in the last few days. I am so pleased that these women have found us , are taking back control and are starting their journey to a strong and healthy pelvic floor using our Weights.

We just want to take this moment to thank every single one of you for your support of Secret Whispers be it as a customer or just as a supporter with uplifting words. We wouldn't be here if it wasn't for all of you so THANKYOU!

A Problem Shared...

Dr Bailey spoke to an anonymous reader aged 57, who was worried that she’d left it too late to strengthen her pelvic floor. The anonymous reader was anxious every time she sneezed, coughed or laughed and was terrified she’d left it too late to fix after having issues since having her children in her late 30s.

Just as Dr Bailey said to this reader, it is never too late to start doing something about your pelvic floor. We have ladies in our Facebook group aged 70+ who use our Weights and get some great results. Don’t ever feel like there's nothing to be done, go see a pelvic floor physio and get some specialist advice. Surgery should be considered as a last resort and pelvic floor strengthening should always be tried first. And most importantly, find your tribe ! You may feel like you're all alone in this but I promise you, you're not. Our closed Facebook group is a fabulous support network full of wonderful women that I’d suggest any women with pelvic floor issues should join.

Going back to the article, Dr Bailey advised that the reader should start Kegel exercises and use progressive Weights like the Secret Whispers Kegel Weights to maximise the effects of the exercises. This was so exciting to read and we are so pleased that our weights are being recommended by medical professionals like Dr Clare Bailey.

We are still on a high here at Secret Whispers HQ and are so excited to see what will happen next. Slowly but surely, pelvic floor awareness is growing and more and more women are joining the fight. Click here to read the article.
