Both our roles are for those in the government Kickstart Scheme, for those aged 16 to 24 years old on Universal Credit.

DIGITAL MARKETING APPRENTICE KICKSTART UNIVERSAL CREDIT

 

Key Roles & Responsibilities: (training will be provided).
We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative digital marketing apprentice to  join our team within our women’s healthcare company to improve our presence online to generate new sales and customers.
 You will work on our social media channels, delivering premium content   across web, email, social and other digital marketing channels.
  •  Assist the Digital Marketing Manager in the planning and monitoring of the ongoing company presence on social media.
  • Assist the DMM in the creation of imaginative, innovative and visual engaging posts on the graphic design platform Canva.
  • Use social media scheduling tools to operate the account efficiently and effectively.
  • Assist the DMM in the day-to-day management of all digital marketing channels including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and other relevant platforms.
  • Closely monitor social media accounts and respond promptly to direct messages with the relevant information.
  • Assist the DMM in influencer outreach to develop credibility and promote awareness of the brand.
  • Actively target the brand avatar (ideal audience) on social media and spend time engaging with relevant accounts to boost engagement and followers.
  • Be actively involved in SEO efforts.
  • Measure KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
  • Report weekly on analytics across all platforms.
  • Acquire insight into online marketing trends.
  • Assist in making and maintaining partnerships with media agencies.
  • Have a good awareness of health sector news stories and trending topics.
  • Write engaging copy for newsletters, social media captions, press releases, news articles and other relevant content.
  • Stay up to date with changes in all social platforms.
  • Other tasks as deemed appropriate by the DMM.

Essential skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Four GCSE grades C - A* (4-9) or equivalent, including English and Maths.
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write creatively.
  • A passion for social media and marketing.
  • Use imagination and 'outside the box’ thinking, showing a creative flair.
  • Excellent organisational skills - you will be working on multiple responsibilities at the same time.
  • Experience in using either Microsoft Office or Google suite.
  • Passionate about branding and using it to create a strong visual impact.
  • Passionate about women’s healthcare.
  • Experience of using social media platforms – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.
  • Experience of using software such as Adobe, Canva, Photoshop to do social media posts.
  • Proven ability to write engaging content for a variety of marketing purposes.
  • An interest in social media from a marketing perspective.
  • A highly proficient computer user, able to adapt quickly to new software.
  • Confident and well mannered.
  • Enthusiastic, able to work under your own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Open to learning new processes, strong organisational skills, manage your own workload effectively and always looking for efficiencies and better ways of doing things.
  • Willing to learn and seek continual improvement in themselves.
  • Must have a can do attitude and able to assist with ad-hoc duties in various areas of the business.

25 hours per week. Flexible between 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday. Remote working is possible.
Within 6 months of joining, the goal is to increase hours and salary accordingly to 37.5 hrs per week.

ECOMMERCE APPRENTICE UNIVERSAL CREDIT

Key Roles & Responsibilities: (training will be provided).
We are looking for someone ready for a challenge and eager to develop themselves and their skill set to join our team within our women’s healthcare company. We are now looking to expand to other marketplaces as well as enhance our product portfolio. Manage, expand and optimize the company’s website, Amazon, eBay and other platforms to drive sales.

  •  Work to optimize product listings to the highest standard, primarily on website, Amazon Seller Central, & Ebay.
  • Maximising sales and proactive listings across all online sales channels.
  • Admin tasks to be completed accurately and on time to maintain positive feedback, including; refunds, returns, customer escalations etc.
  • Regularly updating site to remain ahead of market trends.
  • Researching consumer trends using online platforms including Groupon and Amazon
  • Developing marketing and product ecommerce campaigns using photography, excellent copy and key metadata.
  • Optimising listings using SEO and Amazon good practices, so listings rank organically for targeted keywords.
  • Creating and maintaining profitable Amazon, Facebook and Google advertising campaigns.
  • Writing SEO optimised content that will rank listings organically for targeted keywords.
  • Working with Search Engines, extracting most relevant keywords.
  • Manage, expand and optimize the Amazon and eBay marketing to drive agreed ROI
  • Creation of new platforms (Groupon, fruugo, aliexpress etc).
  • Ecommerce – Creating and maintaining product pages and listings. This includes copywriting, imagery, keyword research and SEO optimisation. Analysis of sales and performance and feeding this data back into product page updates.
  • PPC - Creating, managing and optimising advertising campaigns on Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads and Amazon Sponsored Products. You must set up paid search campaigns by conducting target keyword research and writing relevant ad texts, whilst ensuring effective campaign and keyword structures.
  • Analyse SEO reports/audits and carry out recommended changes.

  • Results driven, analytical, creative and can think outside the box.
  • Strong experience of using social media platforms – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to write engaging content for a variety of marketing purposes.
  • An interest in social media from an ecommerce perspective.
  • A highly proficient computer user, able to adapt quickly to new software.
