We donate a CupIT to a Leicester charity for every CupIT Menstrual Kit we sell

Last week we delivered 100 CupITs to the fabulous Zinthiya Trust in Leicester, which strives to eradicate both period poverty and domestic abuse.
I was horrified to learn how massive the issue is in my local area.

Can you imagine how life-changing this is for a girl or woman? One CupIT and no need to worry about any other sanitary wear for 10 years! And especially not having to use socks, rags and loo roll. Some even admitted to leaving tampons in longer than recommended because of no financial means. Horrifying... the risk of infection.

The difference this will make to a girl or woman's self-confidence and dignity. 

Did you know that  1 in 10 girls in the UK can’t afford to buy sanitary products and 14% girls borrow products from friends, whilst others improvise with less suitable items like rolled up socks??
 
Did you know that around 49% girls have missed school days due to their periods? In a 2019 study, 1 in 5 girls reported being a victim of bullying and teasing because of their periods. How can this still be happening? We cannot live in a world where girls fall behind in their studies because of a lack of period support.

It’s been reported that the average woman spends up to £16,700
on period products across their lifetime! Imagine how much this could save, not only in money, but in waste - it’s so important to be aware of the waste we produce for our planet to deal with and look to more sustainable options..

It's Brilliant!!Can't believe I didn't try this sooner.
